World Sky Games Takes Flight in Bermuda

Bermuda — May 10 — World Sky Games Founder and Commissioner Don Hartsell is making his way across Bermuda, meeting with community, civic, and national leaders to lift up the vision of the World Sky Games and its growing connection to Bermuda’s future in innovation, education, and sustainable aviation.
During his time in Bermuda, Hartsell has been meeting with leaders including members of the Rotary Club and the Governor, helping share the mission of the World Sky Games as a global platform designed to inspire young people, advance STEAM learning, and bring nations together through next-generation lighter-than-air aviation.
Bermuda continues to play an important role in the World Sky Games story. With its strong educational leadership, international visibility, and commitment to preparing students for tomorrow’s opportunities, Bermuda is uniquely positioned to help showcase how aviation, science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics can come together in a way that is exciting, practical, and globally relevant.
The World Sky Games is more than an international airship competition. It is a catalyst for education, environmental stewardship, innovation, tourism, and economic development. Through partnerships with schools, civic organizations, and community leaders, the Games are designed to encourage students to see themselves as inventors, pilots, engineers, designers, problem-solvers, and future leaders.
